This is Part 3 of 3 where I will share what Making A Giving Intents&tea! means.
When I enrolled in massage school at 655 Park Avenue in Hot Springs, Arkansas, it was so that I would have a tent making skill, something that I could use to create a supplemental income for a lifestyle of ministry and missions. While I was in massage school, I heard John Piper's challenge for Believers who have the gift of giving and a vision for business to make as much money as possible and be a conduit--a pipeline of financial resources for the Kingdom. My heart nearly burst when I heard his bold invitation and I was captivated!
I had no idea my journey would be so long to arrive where my heart set out--but here I am! I can say the longer you wait for something, the greater the passion and desire to give your all! Making A Giving. The model God has led me to is 100% and 24/7. So--that is everything and all the time! Clearly this is a big vision that many others will join in to make fruitful. To multiply. To catalyze others to give everything--whatever that may mean, as the Holy Spirit leads them!
Intents&tea! is a word that I created to represent every tongue-tribe-and nation praising the LORD! and to emphasize Intents&tea! "whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might!" Intents comes from the fact that the word TENT is an acronym for Tongue-Every Nation-Tribe, and from the model of tent-making to support ministry and missions. Tents are also common makeshift dwellings for camping. Camping is a picture of our time on earth. We are not here forever. We seek the City to Come. This world is not our home. We are strangers and pilgrims. That's Intents. And the &tea! AND is an acronym for A New Day! Jesus urges us to work while it is still day. The fields are white for harvest. The time is now. It is A New Day! A New Day dawns when the sun rises in the East, where most of the world's population that has yet to hear Good News of Great Joy---lives or calls home. Tea! is our acronym for Ta Ethne Alleluia! All Peoples Praise the LORD!
So--Making A Giving Intents&tea! is raising funds to share Good News of Great Joy with All People!
