PINECONE is my life motto, an acronym that stands for Pour IN Everything! Cheer ON Everyone! Pinecone Promises is how my life motto steps into action! There are 4 Pinecone Promises because I was 4 years old when I promised to love Jesus with my whole heart and follow Him for my whole life. One of my favorite songs when I was a little girl is Bill & Gloria Gaither's I AM A PROMISE, and that song is inspiration for Pinecone Promises. Most people who decide to live by faith and trust God with their whole heart do so between the ages of 4-14, in childhood. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not forbid them, for of such is the KIngdom of Heaven. Unless you become like little children, you cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven." Pinecone Promises always begins with children!
Live the Great Commandments! Jesus said the entire law and prophets is summed up in 2 commandments. Love the LORD your GOD with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and Love your neighbor as yourself.
Love the Great Commission! Jesus promised to be with us to the very end of the age--to the very ends of the earth, and sent us out with All Authority, which belongs to Him, to make disciples of all nations---all peoples. He gave His life for peoples from every tongue, tribe, and nation. A people purchased for his praise!
Lavish Great Campassion! You may not hear it as I read, but if you are looking at the word Campassion, you see that it is spelled C-A-M-P-assion. Campassion! is showing compassion to the ends of the earth! Including every tongue, tribe and nation, as the word TENT is an acronym for Tonue-Every-Nation-Tribe. Campassion for neighbors and nations!
